A manuscript leaf from a mid to late 15th century illuminated Book of Hours. The leaf is written in Latin, using a gothic script, with illuminated initials against red and blue. This leaf is complimented with beautiful, illuminated borders with flowering tendrils. Nested within are two bizarre and brightly illuminated hybrid creatures, with multiple faces.

This leaf is written in a 14-line format.

One illuminated manuscript on parchment, 15.5 x 10.8 cm

This manuscript is in very good shape, with little to no staining to the leaf.
