A late 17th century edition of The Alcoran of Mahomet, translated from Arabic into French by Du Ryer.
There are several pages worth of contemporary notes to the endpapers and the verso of the frontispiece, and two manuscript fragments in the binding, likely late 15th or early 16th century.

On note of condition, this volume is in fair shape, with heavy rubbing and wear to the binding, with the leather partially detached from the front board, and peeling and several spots including the headcap and corner. There is some damp staining to the first and last few leaves, with minor staining throughout.
