A late 17th century edition of du Cambout’s Practical Morals of the Jesuits.
These are two different editions, representing the first and second volume of eight.
There is a full-page engraving and a large folding plate present in the second volume.
Two vellum bound volumes in 12mo, (34)+287, 416+(14)
On note of condition, these volumes are in very god shape, with minimal rubbing and a crease to the front cover of tome two. There is minor foxing throughout, and some toning to the pages of tome two. The bindings are splayed.
