A late 18th century liturgical Latin manuscript antiphonary, with the title being the “Norbertus Franz, who wrote this antiphonal, commends himself to the prayers and sacrifices of the organists”, to the first page. The manuscript is written in black and red, on a four-line staff, containing text and notes of various liturgical chants in red and black, with musical notation throughout. This manuscript bears the stamp of the dissolved Franciscan monastery known as the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, in Miltenberg.
Many of the sections are marked with inscribed vellum tabs.

This manuscript is in very good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding, and stress to the spine. There is some foxing and staining throughout. The binding is slightly splayed.
