These are packed to the brim with dozens of ink wash landscape and some watercolor paintings, as well as at least one Yamato-e painting, with the landscapes being miniature copies of various examples from the Southern School of Chinese painting, as well as the Nanga School. Despite their size, many have been painted with heavy detailing to the rocky views and branching trees, with a fair amount of coloring beyond just monochrome shades. The artists who copied these paintings even went as far as to include the original inscriptions, and little mock-ups where artist seals would be.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"\u003eThere are several artist inscriptions, including the names of \u003cb\u003eKeioomu Yoshitaka\u003c\/b\u003e, \u003cb\u003eShimetsuke Sano\u003c\/b\u003e, \u003cb\u003eTounmi Yaoi\u003c\/b\u003e, and \u003cb\u003eothers\u003c\/b\u003e. Most likely that they were all students of the Nanga or Southern Schools and had opportunities to study the originals at some point.
