A scarce mid 17th century edition of Trullench’s Operis Moralis.
These volumes have been bound in blind stamped pigskin over wooden boards and functioning clasps, with tooled imagery and designs. The symbol for the Society of Jesuits is present at the center, with tooled images of various saints to the borders.

On note of condition, these volumes are in good shape, with rubbing, wear, and staining to the bindings, light worming to the covers of volume 2, and heavier worming to volume 3. There is sporadic damp staining to volumes 1 and 2, and worming to volumes 2-3, with worming in the gutters to the gutter. The last pages of volumes 2 are also wrinkled. There is foxing and staining throughout.
