Joseph Lambert (1654-1722), was a priest, doctor of theology, of the House and Society of Sorbonne, Prieur de Saint-Martin de Palaiseau, near Versailles where he founded in 1714 a charity school. He signed the appeal against the Unigenitus constitution.
Two finely bound volumes in 12mo, (XVI)+496, 584 pages
On note of condition, these volumes are in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear at the corners. There is some foxing and staining throughout.
