An early 20th century illuminated, and handwritten address produced for Harold Broadhurst of the Public Works and Town Planning Department, for the Birmingham City Council, and his 40 years of service.

The address comprises of an illuminated title with painted floral designs and gilt bordering the text, and a hand painted coat-of-arms heading the address.

The address has been bound in a gilt decorated green morroco with no signature and features a monogram for Broadhurst on the front cover.

On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with light rubbing and wear to the binding. There is minor foxing throughout, and the second leaf is slightly warped at the top.
