An early 20th century illuminated, and handwritten address produced for B. J. Fletcher, of the Leicester and Leicestershire Society of Archi, for his 20 years of membership.
The address comprises of an illuminated title with gilt bordering the text. There are three pages of signatures that follow.
The address has been bound in a gilt decorated brown morroco by binder J.B.H. Bayes (?) and features two gilt titles for Fletcher, and one for the Society of Architects as well to the front cover.
One finely bound illuminated address on vellum in folio, 5 leaves
On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with very little rubbing or wear to the binding. The text block itself has fully detached from the binding, though it appears to be a simple matter of gluing it back on. There is light toning to the leaves
