This is one of his more famous emblematic works on marriage, with copperplate illustrations throughout.

On note of condition, this volume is in good shape, with wear and rubbing to the boards, and wear and stress to the spine and joints. There is minor foxing and staining throughout. Only half of the folding plate is present.
