An uncommon mid 19th century edition of D'Exauvillez’s History of Godfrey of Bouillon, a biography of the famous French nobleman and one of the main leaders of the First Crusade. He was also the first ruler of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, though not choosing to use the title of king.
