An extremely scarce early 16th century edition of Barbier’s Forming Instruments and Notarial Art, with Subjoined Tables. First printed in Germany (1504), in Strasbourg and Cologne, the work is based on Rolandinus Rodulphini Passagerii’s 13th century work “Summa artis notariae”.

This volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing to the binding. There is a small hole to the center of the rear endpaper. There is some foxing throughout, with some staining to the outer margins. The binding is stiff.
