This edition is bound in an exquisitely decorated and ornate cartonnage binding of the period, with gilt against rich hues of red and blue, and speckled white. There is a lithograph central panel.

On note of condition this volume is in good shape, with very little rubbing or wear to the binding. There is a crack to the upper front hinge and chipping to the front cover, and the headcap and lower cap are loosened, though holding. The frontispiece is detached. There is very little foxing or staining throughout.
