A mid 16th century edition of the various works of Roman poet Ausonius, containing his works Epigrammata Ausonii de diversis rebus, Idylia, Epistles, and Tituli Reliquo. There is contemporary ruling used throughout, though faded in many sections.
There are two fragments of manuscript that have been used to reinforce the binding, likely to be early 16th century, or late 15th.

On note of condition, this volume is in fair shape, with deterioration to the leather, with the wooden boards exposed to the front cover, and heavy rubbing to the rear. There is peeling to the head and foot of the spine. There is loss to the upper right corners of the end flyleaves.
