A first Plantin Press edition of physician and Leiden professor Junius’ humanist history of the Netherlands in Roman Antiquity and Middle Ages. It contains one of the earliest references to Laurens Coster and the invention of printing.

On note of condition, this volume is in fair shape, with staining to the boards, and strips lacking from the spine, with the front board loosely hanging on. There is foxing and staining throughout.
