A mid 17th century manuscript accounting register belonging to members of the Hodaige Family, dated 1663. The family of Hodaige (or Houdeige) counted among its members merchants, lawyers, men of the Church or holders of public offices (mayors, etc.). This manuscript is for the records of Paul de Champs and his wife Elisabeth de Hodaige, with numerous entries in different hands, going to the very tail end of the 17th century.
This volume has been ornately bound in tooled leather, with intricate borders to the covers.

This manuscript is in very good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding, and leather lacking to the board edges. There is some staining throughout, mostly ink marks.
