Author: Jacques de Hodaige
Condition: Good

A mid 16th century manuscript accounting register belonging to a member of the Hodaige Family, dated 1542. The family of Hodaige (or Houdeige) counted among its members merchants, lawyers, men of the Church or holders of public offices (mayors, etc.). This manuscript is for the records of Jacques de Hodaige, clerk to nobles, with numerous entries in an elaborate hand.

One vellum bound manuscript in folio, 140 leaves + 84 blanks

This manuscript is in good shape, with some rubbing and wear to the binding, and vellum peeling from the head of the spine. There is minor ink staining and some general staining throughout.
