An early 20th century guide to the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage, being a pilgrimage of the thirty-three Buddhist temples located throughout the Kansai region, similar to the Shokuku Pilgrimage. Additionally, there are three more temples known as bangai. In each temple is the principle image of Kannon, known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion to Western audiences.
The guide begins with an illustration of Kannon, and a map of the pilgrimage on the other side.

On note of condition, this volume is in very good shape, with minor wear and rubbing at the edges and corners. There is minor foxing and staining present, with a minor tear on one page.
