An extremely scarce early 20th century edition of Goffine’s Handpostille, also known as the Christian Catholic teaching and edification book.
There are five full-page chromolithograph illustrations, including the title page, and numerous black and white illustrations throughout.
This volume has been bound in the original decorative boards, with the front cover bearing beautiful gilt stamped imagery of Christ at the center of the front, surrounded by icons of the Four Evangelists.

This volume is in very good shape, with minor rubbing and wear to the binding, with light chipping to the foot of the front hinge, and minor staining to the rear. There is toning throughout.
